Curt 52201 RVibrake Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System

Flat towing should be simple, safe, and seamless— the CURT RVibrake Shadow 2 delivers exactly that. This permanently installed braking system adds powerful, responsive braking to your towed vehicle without the hassle of daily setup or adjustment. Once installed, Shadow 2 stays out of sight and out of mind, yet springs into action the moment you shift into tow mode. Its advanced tow-mode detection instantly senses when your vehicle is being towed and activates automatically, syncing with your RV’s brakes with a rapid 0.5-second response time. Resulting in smooth, controlled braking that protects your vehicle and rig during sudden stops, downhill descents, and every mile of your journey.

Designed for easy installation and long-term reliability, the RVibrake Shadow 2 features a plug-and-play system that avoids cutting or splicing wires. With a typical install time of under two hours and no special tools required, it’s one of the most user-friendly permanent brake systems available. It also includes a built-in battery charger (up to 10 amps) to keep your towed vehicle powered, along with the Bullseye™ wireless monitor and range extender, giving you real-time feedback and peace of mind right from the driver’s seat of your RV.
