The Dometic 36165 Furnace Air Flow Sail Switch is designed for use with Atwood / Dometic furnaces. The sail switch is an air-proving, safety device that will not allow ignition to occur until it sees 75% of the motor’s rpm. It ensures that the combustion wheel is rotating fast enough so there is a proper air and gas mixture for smooth ignition.
